Broziat business history

1.7.1897
Julius and Emma Broziat found the carriage company Julius Broziat. The company is located in Spandau.

1906
They move the company to Nauen, close to Berlin.

Until 1914
The business divisions are: carriage company, trading with coal, metal, iron, scrap metal and building material. The business also owns 50 hectares of land to provide their horses with food and space.

1919
Oskar Broziat senior takes over the company.

1925-39
In spite of inflation, recession and National Socialism, the company evolves into a business with 200 employees.

1945
Oskar Broziat senior rebuilds the business in Lübeck as a transport company.

1948
The division Trade and Industry requirements is being established.

1953
Oskar Broziat seniors son Horst establishes the branch Machinery and heavy loads in Allensbach.

1978
Oskar Broziat junior joins the company in Allensbach

1982
The company in Allensbach is being split into Oskar Broziat GmbH Maschinenhandel and Horst Broziat GmbH Transporte

1986
Alexander Broziat joins the company in Lübeck.

1990
Oskar Broziat Lübeck opens a branch in Rostock

1995
Oskar und Alexander Broziat purchase the company Recos from TRUMPF. Recos is located in a town called Hagenau in the Alsace region in France.

1997
The BROZIAT-Group consists of the following companies which are cooperating very closely:

The Oskar Broziat GmbH Lasertechnik is being founded in Lübeck. The company provides job order production on Trumpf laser and bending machines.

1999
The Horst Broziat GmbH in Lübeck is being founded. The company provides steel for the industry, the building sector and trade.

2001
Broziat Maschinen Tägerwilen moves to its new premises for the overhauling of laser cutting machines with two cranes a workshop and 1.100 sqm of additional storage space.

2002
Broziat.Ru is being founded in Moscow

2004
The branch in Rostock is being transformed into the Oskar Broziat GmbH & Co. KG Maschinen und Service.  

2005
Alexander Broziat founds the Broziat GmbH & Co. KG Maschinen und Service in Stocksee. The company trades with used Trumpf machines.

2005
Broziat in Lübeck and Tägerwilen get certified by Trumpf

2007
After six successful years of preparatory work with the Indian service team and many satisfied customers, Broziat Machines India is being founded in Bangalore.
